How to Make

  • Preheat the oven to 200°C. Roll out the sheet of thawed puff pastry on a lightly floured work surface and cut into small rectangles. Place the pastry pieces on the lined baking sheets then prick each piece several times with a fork, leaving a 1/2-inch un-pricked border around the edges. Brush each rectangle all over with the egg wash.
  • Bake the pastries for 15 to 18 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed around the edges.
  • Spread a portion of the cream cheese in the centers of each piece of pastry. Top with smoked salmon lime slices. Garnish with capers, chopped fresh chives and balck sesame seeds.
