How to Make

  • Place pancake mix and water in a bowl. Beat until thick and creamy.
  • Butter a large non-stick frying pan over medium heat. Spoon pancake mixture into the pan. Cook only one side until bubbles appear then move to a plate.
  • Shape the pancakes as Qatayef cones. Add 1 spoon of Ashta in the cone. Top it with crushed pistachio nuts. Drizzle with sugar syrup on top.
  • You can use regular Betty Crocker Buttermilk Pancake Mix to create the Qatayef. Just follow the instructions on the packaging.
  • You can use a regular Betty Crocker Pancake mix. Just follow the instructions on the packaging to add eggs, oil and milk!
