How to Make

  • Preheat the oven to 190⁰C.
  • Use 10 slices of the bread, Cut off the crusts, then spread butter on one side.
  • Spread with honey.
  • Cut each slice diagonally into 4 triangles.
  • Soak the raisins and dry them before use.
  • Whisk together the milk, cream, eggs, sugar and vanilla.
  • Lay half the triangles, in a deep dish and sprinkle with half the raisins.
  • Lay the rest of the triangles on top and scatter rest of the raisins on top.
  • Pour the mixture over the bread and leave to soak for 5 minutes.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes until puffed and golden.
