How to Make

  • In a medium size bowl combine the butter, sugar and honey and mix well until completely mixed and fluffy.
  • Add the egg and mix until completely mixed.
  • In another bowl mix the flour with the salt, baking soda and all the spices.
  • Add the flour mixture to the butter mixture and mix using a wooden spoon until a soft dough forms.
  • Wrap the dough with plastic wrap and refrigerate for two hours up to two days.
  • Heat the oven to 180C and line baking trays with parchment paper.
  • Take the dough out of the fridge and roll to medium thickness and cut using the desired shape.
  • Bake for 8-10 minutes.
  • Cool on a wire rack completely then serve.
