How to Make

  • Combine flour, salt and pepper on a shallow plate and dip the fish fillets in it and set aside.
  • Heat 1/4 cup oil in a pan on high fire, and cook the fish on both side. Set aside.
  • Heat a bit more oil and fry the pine nuts and repeat the same step with the almonds, as well as the first onion cut lengthways. (all will be used as toppings).
  • Heat the remaining oil and stir fry to chopped onions (into cubes) for about 5 minutes, until dark brown.
  • Add the Maggi Seasoning then the basmati rice and water.
  • Bring to boil then reduce the fire and cover until cooked.
  • Serve in plate topped with the fried fish, onions, pine nuts and almonds.
  • Decorate with coriander if desired.
