How to Make

  • Mix the flour with the salt, baking powder and thyme.
  • Using a mixer (or by hand) slowly incorporate the cubed butter.
  • Chill for 20 minutes then roll out into a disk (on baking paper) and chill again
  • In the meantime, chop the almonds, slice the dates and the cheese
  • Take the dough out and top it with the cheese, almonds, and dates
  • Then add the egg, give it a final mix and you’re good.
  • Close it up from the sides and sprinkle olive oil and salt
  • Bake for 35-40 minutes at 180 degrees
  • Halfway through you can cover the middle part with some foil so that the toppings don’t become too crispy
  • After baking, drizzle the balsamic honey mix and enjoy
