How to Make
Pour the rice into a sieve and rinse in cold water. Place the rice in a saucepan and add the remaining ingredients.
Put on a high heat and bring to the boil. Stir, then turn down the heat and simmer for an hour.
Stir the rice every ten minutes. Once cooked turn off the heat remove the cinnamon stick and cool for ten minutes.
Finally, serve in dessert dishes, top with jam, almonds flakes and sprinkle over some brown cane sugar.
