How to Make

  • In a food processor, place the onion and pulse until chopped. Add the parsley, the meat, and the spices (if using). Then pulse again until the mixture comes together
  • Form the meat into small meatballs (about 1 cm)
  • In a wide pot, cook the meatballs in 1 tsp. oil. Remove and set aside once done
  • In the same pot, add the remaining 1 tsp. of oil and cook the potato for 1 minute, then add the zucchini, then the tomato. Cook for 2 minutes and then add the tomato paste and the water and mix
  • Drop the meatballs back in the pot
  • Bring to a boil, then simmer, cover and cook for 20 minutes
  • Finally add the Cerelac, mix, and continue cooking for 1 minute
  • You can substitute the kafta balls with minced beef if your little foodie is less than 12 months. N.B: Make sure to supervise your little foodie during feeding time and you can cut or shape the dish conveniently to his/her needs.
